Damn these walls that hold me here inside Here I have nowhere I can hide Annoying hours keep me from my sleep They give me drugs so that I won't speak Everything is alright baby, come and see me once in a while I know that you think that I'm crazy, but I'm still sane So I sit with nothing much to do Many times my memories drift to you I write a book describing all they do Hey I know that you are like me too Everything is alright baby, I'd love to see you smile I know that you think that we're crazy, but we're still sane But when the evening comes all I can hear are screams When anyone comes back a mess we all know where they've been Taken to the doctor who has told them what to say But no electro shock could ever take my love away Everything is alright baby, I'd love to see you smile I know that you think that I'm crazy, but I'm still sane Everything is alright baby, I'd love to see you smile I'd love to see you smile

I took a walk around town last night I saw a girl who had lived in my mind She saw I aimed for the light But her broken heart kept me from inside But she said she loved me She said she loved me I went to her house that night I saw her trying to find her way I saw the weight she had to fight Her eyes had tears But they said all she had to say She said she loved me She said she loved me And I went into her world I found all I I'd ever dreamed of She is my guiding light She's all that, all that I need She said she loved me She said she loved me

Seafaring 04:57
When I'm longing for the feel of the waves far out sea I take my eyes into my head To feel them there And as the waves crash over me I think of how the world would be without the mess invention caused without a care If I had known it all would be torn by the hand I gave it to I would have burned with anger till nothing remained As the evening closes in and moonlight slowly starts to fall the water starts to chill my skin but I don't care I'm thankful for the chance to feel the cold so warmth becomes more real but it's a shame that there are those who never care If I had known it all would be torn by the hand I gave it to I would have burned with anger till nothing remained there The roar of waves at night can be a stirring sound that can take me Away from humankind's regress into the air

So there I was one morning watching as the cars slipped by when I stopped and said to myself 'what's the point I have to try to take along a book and try to rhyme' But as I opened my book, I tried to find some empty lines As I turned through mounds of garbage guess what I had to find? A poem that you wrote, saying you were fine Without me in your life all the time One thing is bugging me today It's not your writing It's not the things you have to say Or where you're going I guess there's just one way to say What I've been feeling You're not a poet anyway Yeah... So there I was that evening going for a moonlit drive but when I turned on the radio guess what I had to find A song that you wrote saying you had time for everybody's love but never mine One thing is bugging me today It's not your singing It's not the instruments you play Or what you're doing I guess there's just one way to say What I've been feeling You're not a poet anyway Yeah... And I know it's true One thing is haunting me today It's not your writing It's not the instruments you play Or where you're going I guess there's just one way to say What I've been feeling You're not a poet anyway Yeah...

There once was a kingdom called Caergard That fell to the big green eyed monster’s attacks The monster would come just as all started sleeping and filled all their dreams with distortions of facts When morning came the whole kingdom imploded as brother fought brother for use of a sword Sisters fought mothers for use of the baths & lovers would wake up and not say a word They never let on and they’d never tell anyone how They never had won When facing the big green eyed monster again A man and a woman set out after quarrelling To try discover the green monster’s lair Set in the south in the heart of a swampland They came to his lair in much dread and much fear But fighting all day with it proved fairly useless Until they decided on something to do They threw off their armour and tore down defences gave into each other and started anew In that way they won and they went and told everyone how They always could win When facing the big green eyed monster again

Treehouse 06:32
I took my love to my Treehouse In all the hope that she'd learn to fly But as she lifted into the air She fell down She fell down Is this how the story ends? I took my love from my Treehouse Broken and bleeding She nearly died Oh I had no idea that she'd fall down The land was hardened clay Was hard as hardened clay Is this how the story ends? And there's no way That I'm gonna let her fall And there's no way And there's no way That I'm gonna let her fall And there's no way And there's no way That I'm gonna let her fall I took my love to my Treehouse In all the hope that she'd learn to fly Oh I had no idea as soon as she was able She'd beg me to take her again and again Oh she had no idea that she'd fall down When I took my love To my Treehouse Is this how the story ends?
