This is a song offering the solution I have found to surviving and overcoming some of the suffering I have endured - including sexual abuse as a child, domestic violence as a young adult male, career disappointments in a turbulent and challenging music industry, moving continents twice, and a debilitating constant tinnitus.
The greatest force I have ever experienced is God's love. God's love has healed me, kept me sane enough to make music, be a loving husband & father, and contribute to society. It allows me to see an incredible, artistic, love-filled created world that expresses God's love for us, and to be thankful for what I have, and the people in my life.
I understand plenty of people will be unable to relate to the Jesus stuff, but he's the answer I've found to overcoming the ever-threatening darkness that would otherwise overwhelm me.
